Here are some of my great deals at Target this weekend. In addition to the deals below, I got an extra 10% off my entire bill with my Visa card rewards.


We buy Tropicana OJ each week because it's our favorite. Whenever we can, we use coupons to make each cheaper. Tropicana just launched a rewards program and you earn rewards with each carton you buy. You can search their site to find places to redeem them. It turns out there are several museums and zoos you can get free tickets, too and even to ICubs games! Pretty cool for just buying our regular orange juice.


Target had a buy 4 get 1 free sale on TLC snacks. These are the only granola bars I like to buy, because they are fairly healthy for you. I had two coupons (buy 2 get $1.50 off). The snacks were also on sale for $2.59. Before my 10% visa rewards, they came out to $1.47 each. (I always check for Target deals on Stretching A Buck every week. This is where I found this deal.)


Now that Brad is working, we buy sandwich meat every week. This week they were doing a sale: buy 1.5lbs of Archer Farms meat and get a half pound of cheese FREE. A great coincidence for us because I buy a pound of Brad's kind and a half pound of mine! So we got our cheese free!

Oreos are Brad's favorite cookies. ever. We only buy them we they are a good deal because, let's face it, they have no nutritional value. Nabisco is running a special on Facebook. (See my post from yesterday). So we bought our weekly gallon of milk and 2 bags of Oreos. Before my Visa 10%, the Oreos were $1.50 each.

This is my load from Walgreens this weekend. With a combination of ad savings, Walgreens coupons, and manufacturer coupons, I saved 55%. I paid $32.74 out of pocket and have $15 in Register Rewards for next week. That is only $1.92 for each item I bought.

I glanced through the Fareway ad to see if there was anything good this week. On the way home from Target, we made a stop for Blue Bunny ice cream. On their website (see the right side bar of my blog) they are running a $1.00 off coupon and they were on sale for $2.99. This is our favorite ice cream and we never buy it unless it's super on sale or we have coupons. We were out of ice cream, so this was great timing!
