Last weekend haul: Walgreens

So I pretty much got paid to shop at Walgreens, got everything for free at CVS and saved a bunch at Target...as Monk would say...here's what happened...

WALGREENS:

Watch the ad for things that give you register rewards (a coupon that you can take back and use next time. If you combine it with Walgreens and Manufacturers coupons, you can get free stuff or even overage.

I saw this toothbrush (who doesn't need a small stash of toothbrushes!) and it was free!

$3.29 - $3.50 RR = FREE + $.24

Thanks to reading my coupons blogs (listed on the right side bar) I found 2 free things that weren't in the ad last week.

These I found on stretchingabuck under monthly deals

Chapstick on sale for $1.99 - $2.00 RR = FREE + $.01

Skintamate on sale for $2.99 - $3.00 RR = FREE + .01

100 ct Walgreens coupon I received in the mail for a FREE bottle

So you can look at it 2 ways
1). I got everything in this trip for free & got some of my tax paid for
or
2). I invested in this trip and will save $8.50 on my next trip

If you continue to "roll" the register rewards (use some on a trip and get more in that same trip) you can make trips there and pay almost nothing! So now that I have some RR to use from this weekend & the weekend before, my next trip this week will be to see if I can use them when buying things I need that will be offering more RR!
